Every Monday, I look forward to getting these messages at school. My friends who dont have cell phones always ask at lunch to see the messages. When I read the messages, I just get a huge smile on my face. Does anyone else look forward to reading the messages on Mondays? :)

The adult leaders involved with the Celebration had a training meeting last night with Elder Rasband. It was awesome. He called this a “short-term, high-impact assignment.” I already realize the requirement is for a lot of hours and effort from our youth and their leaders; however, I’m convinced that we can allow this assignment to have a high impact on our own lives if we can somehow catch a vision of what this really means on the eternal scale. This can impact us in a big way if we let it.
ReplyDeleteWe need to view this as a part of our purpose for being on the earth, living in the Salt Lake Valley in these days. Really, these temples could have been built a few years ago or a few years from now, and that would have precluded many of us from being a part of this monumental effort. This will be something we all look back on with fondness for the rest of our lives, even though it’s forcing us to sacrifice and stretch in the short term.

I think that it is amazing that they are training all of our leaders for the celebration that will make it just that much eaiser on us or the ones who our perticipating in the celebration this is going to be so fun.
